Welcome to Pluto's Pet Care + Training Support! We are a qualified, professional, and regulated trainer and pet care provider for Brixham. The Pluto's team provides services 7 days a week, excluding bank holiday weekends, national holidays and Christmas week.
The team has many years' experience and qualifications between them with animals of different backgrounds, behavioural & physical needs. Our current collective qualifications include: FdSc Biosciences; BSc Animal Sciences; Canine Behavioural Problems & Solutions diplomas; IMDT Approved Dog Trainer; Canine Body Language Specialists; OFQUAL Canine Care, Behaviour & Welfare; Approved KAD Canine Trainer; Predation Substitution Instructor; whilst working towards MSc Behavioural Science. The team keeps up to date with the latest scientific research on positive training. We are guided by courses ran by the KAD, PST, Dog Training College, IMDT, APDT, highly recommended behaviourists and OFQUAL - all of which are governed by the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter.
We are proud members of the Pet Professional Guild British Isles who advocates for science-backed, fear free training. We do not conduct any care that involves aversive or coercive methods or equipment and are actively working to stamp out unqualified, dangerous people claiming to be trainers. Our services include:
* Group dog walks
* Solo dog walks (dogs with additional or complex needs)
* Home visits (up to one hour)
* Kids Around Dogs (KAD) training, teaching in schools, and bespoke family sessions
* Predation Substition Training (PST)
